A safe first diagonal cell from a 20-coin stake gives 20×0.97/(3/4), about 25.867 coins; an off-diagonal safe cell gives 23.28. Later safe probabilities use only compatible layouts, and can increase or decrease.

Collect is available after a safe reveal. Proven hazards are unavailable; proven-safe cells have probability1 and add no value. A choice with next value above1000 times stake is unavailable. When no eligible uncertain choice remains, the current value is banked automatically. The guard is not a promise that1000×stake can be reached.
